Today's boktips

While I am anyway at it (following up on below post), I need to get some sinister comments out about the mother planet. Have you Sweco's read "För Herr Bachmann's broschyr" ("To Mr Bachmann's pamphlet") by Carl-Johan Vallgren (am slightly pleased with my very nice and sinister picture of him)? If not, do it, especially if you a Swede temporaily or permanently living abroad. If you are not a Swede, this would be well worth reading too -- it will immediately ruin your presumably glorified picture of the perfect country of the north (that is, if you are still imbecil enough to think overly good about the cold and difficult northen nest). And by the way, to you who are still living in the country, just open your eyes and please try and be a tiny bit critical about the little fish pound you've decided to stay in.
Alrightiho, what is now this?? Well, after Mr Wallgren had published his MOST cherished and beloved Den vidunderliga kärlekens historia (The story of the amazing love, or similar...), that EVERYONE just HAD to read (and everyone HAD to love, just because he got the Augustpris for it, and ok it is really fantastic...), he went a bit, shall we say... sinister? He wrote this brilliant little book about a writer in exile somewhere in Germany (hmm, ok) where he is asked to write a few chapters about his home country for a guide book to Sweden. The load of sinister and truly hate-filled descriptions about the country and it inhabitants is neverending and just absolutely WONDERFUL.
Get it!
